After browsing through random deviants, I came across one that had a journal entry that recently asked if he should commit suicide.  Naturally, others told him that he shouldn't and gave him reasons why not to do it.  Instead of me just saying no, I want to do more to make the point drive home. This is a story I want to share with people in case anyone ever has suicidal thoughts in the future (Including myself).

When I was a Freshman in High School, there was a Senior at my school that had committed suicide.  Now, I never meet the guy, so to me, it wasn't that big of an impact to me.  But the reason why he did it was what I wanted to talk about.  See, he was doing a project where he ask people if they would miss him if he was gone.  However, all of the people that he asked said that they wouldn't.  I don't know if those people were joking with him at the time, but that's not the point.  He was so distraught afterwards, that he believed that no one would care if he was gone.  So one night, he jumped off a bridge on the express way and ended everything.

The next day, they announced his death over the school speakers during class, and offered to give help to those that were affected by his death.  When they announced his death, I heard that there were people that were crying their eyes out and this when I learned about why he died.  Apparently, some of these people were the same ones that said that they didn't care if he was gone or not.  I made me realize that you will never know what you'll truly lose until it's gone forever.

I guess the moral of the story is if you think that no one really cares about you and believe that no one will miss you when you're gone, there will always be some one out there that does even if you don't know them or not.  And if you know some one that you think is suicidal or asks if they should kill themselves, then, please, do everything you can to let them know that they are important.  And if you feel like sharing this story will help, then do it.  Make sure to always let your friends and family know just how much they mean to you.  And even if what they do may not seem as like a lot, it might important to someone else, whether they know it or not.
Happy 16th Birthday Deviantart
I drew a rhinoceros!  I feel proud of myself!  :D

Honestly, this took me far too long to make.  But I still feel proud that I actually made some art on a site that's pretty much made for art.  Such, all I used was a template and MS Paint, but I guess it does show that you don't need the most expensive tools to make art.  You might need it for making amazing art, but that's not the point.  DA, as I see it, really does encourage people to try new things and I'm glad to be a part of it.

And lastly, Happy Birthday Deviantart!
Okay, I just had the strangest day here on DA. I first sent out 3 llama trades and got 7 in total.  The odd part is that two of those people are now following me (Why?) and one of them favorited 2 of my deviations. But the weirdest thing came when I was sending out llama badges back to all the people who sent me one and noticed that one of them was from an account where the original owner left around 2014 and moved to a different channel all together.

This has got to be the craziest thing that has ever happened tome. When I started making stuff on DA, I figured that people may look at my stuff, and it amazes me when someone favorites or even comments on something I made. But I never thought that anyone would ever want to follow me to see what I create next. If I ever do.

To the two people that are currently watching me, all I can say is thank you. And I hope I don't lose you guys too soon.

But seriously, can either of you explain how that account with the owner that left was able to send me a llama badge, even after the trade offer expired? Because I am at a loss here.
Weird Day and Thank You
I talk about my strange day and thanking people for watching me on DA.

EDIT:  I talked with the person with the deleted account and said they use it only to give out llamas.  No need to worry. Sweating a little...
In some point in our lives, we all want to create content in some form or another.  Whether it be through art, literature, or video.  For the most part, people are okay with people with doing these kinds of things.  But for certain cases, like reaction videos, some people are not as positive.

Now before we go any further, I will point out that I like watching reaction videos and I support people that add more to the original video.  What I don't like is all the people who are against it, when they themselves are hypocrites.

I've seen a channel that is very vocal on how reactors steal content or the fact that they play the whole video and say they don't add anything new.  But the problem is that person owns a separate channel where uploads unedited clips to full episodes on their channel without doing anything to them and still believes they are in the right.  I won't give a name, but their channel is MLP related, and I'm pretty sure most MLP reactors know who exactly I'm talking about.

My other issue is with those that do dramatic readings or comic dubs, and say the exact same thing.  Essentially, what they are doing is the exact same thing as reaction channels: they take someone else's work, read it, and pass it off as their own original work.  One can argue that it isn't creative, all they are doing is proving they are literate.  Doesn't matter how well of a voice actor you are, if you do it, you're less likely to get issues with the creator because they're on a different site and wouldn't be looking for it.

Is what I'm saying true?  Yes.

Do you agree with my arguements?  Maybe.

Does this mean you should hate this type of content?  Absolutely...not.

Look, dramatic readings and comic dubs are not my main source of entertainment.  I'll listen to a comic dub from time-to-time, and preferred dramatic readings are when multiple people are involved and they break away from the story to comment, laugh, or tell jokes.  Not just listen to the whole thing straight through from start to finish.

What I want to say is that, we all have are preferred types of entertainment and they will change over time.  That doesn't give anyone the right to say that you shouldn't make this kind of content because I don't like it.  It's the same as telling an artist to only draw ponies.  Or telling a writer to only write stories about a certain character or series and focus on nothing else.

We all have a voice and we should be able to share our voice when it feels needed.  But when one person makes a decision to basically give out copyright strikes to every reactor after being okay with them a year prior, this is when something needs to be done.

I don't care if no one reads this or if you want to attack me for supporting reaction videos.  If you have a problem, take it somewhere else because I'm not the one you should be complaining to.  If a reactor does one of your videos and you don't like it, ask them to take it down.  If you tell the reactor and not just make an announcement video telling them to stop, then most likely they will take it down.

Yes, I know there are reactors that are just in it for the fame and money.  But that is potentially the same thing that can be with everyone, with artist, musicians, writers, animators, etc.  Everyone mostly attacks reactors because they're the easiest targets.  It much harder to tell if a musician or animator is guilty of this and, most of the time, even if they do know, they still won't care.

In the end, all I can say is that, don't go attacking someone.  Because whether you like it or not, they will attack back, and in some cases, they won't be alone.
What is Content? *Warning: Rant*
This has been on my mind for a long time. The reason this took so long was that a dramatic reader was in the hospital when I wanted to originally post this, but I didn't want to potential cause any unforeseen complications with her recovery. It's been many months now and I now had the chance to put all my thoughts out there.

Sorry for any misspellings and weird wording in places. After I finished typing it, I wasn't allowed to edit it anymore.  Sorry again in advanced. Sweating a little...

I just a guy that likes to talk about different things. I've currently taken a small interest in reviewing My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. I don't consider myself a Brony, just someone who likes the show. And the thousands of fan content inspired by the show.

Anyway, I plan on making written review on episodes that really catch my interest. Just the episodes where I feel my input would actually mean something to someone. I'm still an amateur when it comes to writing and I doubt people care to read what I make since I'm a nobody. But if you do for some reason like my stuff, please leave a comment or favorite it.
